Excellent quality. Baskets include plastic liners, and 2 of them have little "table stands" to prop up items put inside. Wood Cabinet is solid with glass doors and metal pull knobs. Slight scratch/scuff to the lower right edge. Scuff is not deep and seems to have mostly just removed the stain. You are viewing a Longaberger Prototype 2007 Collectors Club Fishing Creel Basket. This Basket measures 10"L x 6.5"W x 9.5"H and features woven Heartwood Maple with an attached Warm Chestnut Leather Lid with Square Opening. There is a removable & Adjustable Leather Strap that can be used as backpack straps and Woven Bottom. The Fishing Creel Basket was only available to Collectors Club Members. There is a small light area on the Leather on the underside inside of the Lid. A Prototype is the first Basket made and presented to the Longaberger Design Team to determine if that particular item is cost effective to make and sell. Prototypes were numbered and placed in the historical area-not for sale. Some Prototypes were accepted and then produced for the public to purchase-Such is the case with this particular Basket. In 2021, a sale of the historical merchandise was conducted at The Longaberger Homestead. That is where this basket came from.
